We are a full service acoustic shop, specializing in hand crafted guitars and mandolins.The Style 1 body shape is designed to be both robust and responsive, the shape is full-bodied and full-voiced, with a big enough sound to please flatpickers and heavy rhythm players, and enough articulation and dynamic dimension to satisfy a nuanced fingerstylist. The body measures 16-1/4 inches wide at the lower bout and 4-7/16 inches deep at the lower bout. This beautiful guitar is in clean condition with just a small ding on the upper shoulder below the tone controls - too small to photograph. And with almost no fretwear. It is nice to have such a fine example of an R Taylor. The Englemann top makes this guitar perfect for fingerstyle. Paired with the Madagascar Rosewood back and sides you have a wonderful combination that is sweet, full and rich with nice clarity on the highs.
