SquareTrade © AP6.0 Here's a matched pair of genuine vintage A2674 GEC British made tubes ( equivalent to and interchangeable with Western Electric 436A, the construction is nearly identical aside from the getter ). This is a high gain, very high transconductance pentode tube. See spec sheet for this item: http://www.westernelectric.com/spec_sheets/436A.pdf These have gold plated pins and use magnoval sockets, if you need magnoval sockets for this item please ask or see my Ebay store listings. These are not new (the pin plating is rough and there's some brown on the edge of the getter) but both test better than new for plate current (under test conditions used, book says there should be 21 ma anode current, these draw 43 and 44 ma respectively) and transconductance and test within 1 ma of each other for anode current and transconductance. As with other Western Electric and GEC tubes you can expect long, reliable service with these tubes. The bid price is for one pair of tubes (both together). Tube was tested for plate current and transconductance, and for leakage and shorts . Tubes are guaranteed for 30 days against defects (but not breakage, so don't smash them with a hammer!), so long as you're willing to mail back anything that doesn't work right. Shipping for this items is FREE to USA and all other countries I normally ship tubes to (however I get to pick the shipping method if I'm paying for it, if you want special shipping methods such as Fedex please contact me for cost). At this time I'm wandering around Europe for a spell looking for cool new tubes to offer my customers, they'll be shipped from whatever place I happen to be at the time you pay for the goods.
