The case is constructed of 3/8" thick plywood with a heavy ABS Black laminate and completely surrounded with thick aluminum extrusion which is permanently machine riveted together. It is finished with all recessed hardware and steel ball corners to meet ATA specs. The case also has threaded (front only) rails for mounting standard 19" rack mountable equipment. The shell of the rack is 18" deep without the lids and the lids add another 1 3/4" each. A real bargain at this incredible low price! The total shipping charge is $0 including packaging, handling, and insurance to anywhere in the US except Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the Virgin Islands.
