This auction is for a vintage stringed instrument made in Colombia. This is called a "Citara Didactica" which literally translates to "Instructional Stringed Instrument." This zither-like instrument has 15 adjustable strings that can be played using your fingers or a pick. It features all-wood construction with metal tuning components and strings. This instrument is in used condition with its original box. It comes with more than 30 different songs, including a number of Hispanic classics. The box has some water damage, but the Citara itself and the sheet music are in very good condition. (It does need to be tuned.) This instrument measures 17" by 8-1/2".
