Fine Wilkanowski violin made in 1939 by one of America's most prolific and respected makers. This model 200 is fully blocked and lined, has ebony fittings, is constructed of superior woods, and the workmanship is fine. There is an old neat and professional repair of a crack near the soundpost -- you can see in the close-up picture it's nearly imperceptable. No other repairs. It's been well played; it plays well and has a very good tone. Strung with Pirastro Tonicas. My wife used this violin for years and it has a great strong voice which is excellent for orchestral work or jam sessions. Include a case suitable for shipment.
