Five string bluegrass banjo and fitted case in very good condition. Similar to Kay/Jedson banjos made in the former GDR. The banjo has a straight and true neck firmly fixed and has no wear to the rosewood fingerboard and very little to the frets. The original machineheads all work well and a new fifth peg has just been fitted. All the original hooks and fittings are present and the chrome is very good as you can see. The skin is tight with a nice bright tone and in good condition (small area of finish worn away) , it has had a recent new bridge and has been fitted with a new set of good quality strings. There is a little wear to the edges and some light scratches to the back but nothing obvious. The banjo has excellent string height and angle and very smooth action and a loud authentic bluegrass sound. Please ask if you have any questions.
