SKU: 33366601 (ExplorerNeck)Gibson NOS Explorer E2 Guitar Neck Here for auction is a very rare NOS Gibson USA guitar neck from the the Early 1980's. It is a neck for the Explorer E2 model guitar. The tenon is date stamped "SEP 8 1980". Its from the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo Michigan. The Neck is raw, unfinished, and unsanded. This is the only neck of this type I have and the pictures are of the actual neck you will receive.The neck is in very good condition with no major cracks, chips, wormholes or anything like that. The neck does have a few small dings on the headstock area. Please note that in the pictures there is not brass trussrod nut installed but since the photo's were taken we have fit the neck with an appropriate nut. Please review the specs and measurements listed below. This is a really unique find that virtually never happens. As a rule Gibson does not ever make parts available. If you've got a Gibson from this era that needs this part, this could be the literally be your one and only chance to get one.
