Hello Gearnuts!, I will be selling some pretty interesting stuff so check out my other auctions too. Well we have something special on the block today folks-Some HELIOS parts one pcb card with discrete components and (2) trannies an input-a sowter. An output which is I beleive a Beyer (says 'xoul' on it). The card says helios 538. Not sure what to do with these-bought these last year and the seller said they could be made into a preamp. I won't guarantee that but I don't know and I don't have the time to put these together right now. I will tell you that the sowter tranny works-I wired it up in a neve and it worked great. Very open and present at the same time. Actually I was blown away but I was looking for something dirtier so I went with a st. maranair for that particular pre. I was saving this for a special project, but my plate is a little too full at the moment and I have 4 diy projects ahead of this one. So here it goes, these are all being sold as-is with no guarantee. As I said the sowter is working, but I have not tested the card or the op tranny. I will leave that to someone who know what kind of power these take. Ask any question before auction end please. Because of the nature of this piece I will not accept returns, but i guarantee it is working as designed.
