This is the famous King model 2268 Four front action valve Baritone Horn in brass lacquer finish. Key of B flat. Great playing condition. This is a well used horn and has dents and lacquer wear to show for it. Lacquer finish is 80% with some dents and dings from use and repairs. There is a dent in the lead pipe also. We played the instrument and it performs very nicely. Valves work great, compression is good and tunings slide all pull freely. We straightened the bell and it looks pretty good. Great Professional Baritone horn, great deal!! New retail price is $2855.00......ours is much much less!! Features: Artist‚ bell up with 11" (279mm) bell‚ .562" (14.27mm) bore‚ four front action valves‚ 1st/2nd valve pull rings‚ lacquered brass‚ hardshell case in rough condition, but holds horn fine. The pleasing sound of this bell up baritone makes it an excellent addition to any ensemble. No mouthpiece. This is a great old horn, just not very pretty.
