These have been in the development phase for some time, and the feedback we received from the prototypes allowed us to make a killer professional model copper snare drum that really delivers on sound and projection! Somewhere between the high end crack of metal and the mid tone warmth of wood, Copper snare drums are renowned for their versatility in live situations, not to metnion the studio. sizes: 14 x 3.5 piccolo and 14 x 5 classic ARE BOTH AVAILABLE IN SEPERATE AUCTIONS! Technical specs: 1.1 mm hand bent and welded copper shel with classic 45 degree bearing edges, and high sensativity snare beds. The lugs are high tension baltimore style lugs, and the snare features a low mass butt plate and idiot proof Taye style throw. Finished with 2.3 mm hoops and classic 20 strand steel wires...and of course our now famous polka dot snare straps.
