This Talk & Teach course shows how you can fill without getting in the way of the singer. Help Me Make It Through the Night is a great place to start and the teacher has given you all kinds of fills, licks & things to stimulate your creative juices. You'll learn to play the strings 3-5 pretty & learn a good vibrato in doing so. Learn harmonics & much more. Song is in Bflat & there are about 23 fills. You will be able to use these fills down the road. It is harder to play pretty & slow & clean then fast or halfast. The steel guitars role is to fill the holes in the melody that the singer leaves when it is you and the singer. These days it is a lot harder to do that with the junk that is written. Included on this CD are More Hand & Finger excercises in the way of more licks, 13 of them, to help build your chops and improve the blocking. Execution is the key. Standard 3x3 E9th - beginner to intermediate. This is a CD from cassette & not a DVD, 40 tracs total. Haven't listed this DS-3 for awhile. The picture of the Loafer guitar is for show & tell only & has absolutely nothing to do with the course offered. It shore is purdy, tho.
