This is a professional level (key of A) Buffet clarinet model # BC1231 but is "suitable for all types of musician, symphony or chamber music, soloists, teachers, those in marching bands, students and amateurs." According to the Buffet-Crampon website, it was manufactured 11/28/1985. Our daughter purchased it from its original owner in the Spring of 2007. This special clarinet was "overhauled and polished" November 2007. Case or mouthpiece are not included. Our daughter is no longer a music major and is hoping someone else will be able to appreciate its rich and focused sound.
