Description

THIS IS A CHANCE OF A LIFETIME TO OWN A 1966 FENDER MUSTANG - ALL ORIGINAL WITH ALL OF ITS PARTS. JUST LIKE THE DAY IT WAS BORN.  This baby has everything and everything is original.  It has the almost always missing whammy bar and the more often not there then there bridge cover.  NOTHING HAS BEEN MODIFIED IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM, nothing has been touched.  I have never seen a 66 with all of its parts and all original before and believe me this may be your only chance.  USA BUYERS GET FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING AND INSURANCE... Yes, the paint is original.  THE HARDSHELL CASE is original...  ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING IS ORIGINAL!!!!  It has 2 scratches on the body on the top (face).   If you would like more pictures please send your email address and we will get those out to you ASAP!   There are light belt rashes on the back/bottom which is normal for these guys because we all know how big those belt buckles used to be - they are coming back into fashion I am told...  Also,  one little nick that is about the size of a nail head on one side of the body also...  It is in really good shape for being 42 years old.    WE SHIP ON THURSDAYS AND SATURDAYS ONLY!!    For all of you Mustang experts here are all of the pertinent numbers and information.  The NeckPlate number is 128***,  The neck stamp is 16FEB66B,  The pots are 6609...  year 1966 and week 9...  We would have to take it apart again to check to see if they are CTS pots or Stackpole pots but if you would like us to then we certainly will.  The Bridge Pickup is dated on the left side with 4-4-66 and the neck pickup is dated, on the left side with 4-1-66 and on the right is written 12...  The tremolo is pat pend. and the whammy and bridge cover are in great shape as is the tuners, tree string and nut.  The Frets look like they have hardly been played as is this guitars history.  The neck wood is smooth and fast and it's just in really good shape for being 42 years old.  It has some pitting on the neck plate and if you would like us to put a nicer looking one on it we have no problem with that.  I believe we have about 3 nice 66 neck plates in our collection. ... I also have it up for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early if I sell it before the auction is up. Have a nice one!  PLEASE READ ALL OF THE AD FOR THIS ITEM!!
