ROSEWOOD THUMBREST SUITABLE FOR FENDER JAZZ, MUSTANG & PRECISION BASS GUITARS These are quite hard to find parts - you normally have a choice of either a cheap plastic replacement or, if you are lucky, an original vintage Fender one may crop up on Ebay. The only difference between the two is that the genuine vintage part is usually very expensive! Its still a cheap piece of plastic though...... I make my thumb-rests by hand from luthier quality wood that I use for my other products. Check out www.classicguitarboxes.com They are supplied with the correct dome-top cross-headed screws. Also included are fixing instructions and template suitable for Precision and Jazz type instruments. Of course they can be fitted to any bass guitar. Please let me know whether you would like GOLD, BLACK or STAINLESS STEEL fixing screws. If you don't express a preference I'll supply stainless ones.
