Here is the complete 60M Tenor set from early 1950s for the collector or player, the original sax, mouthpiece, and case! This is a great playing Conn Super Pan American Tenor. You don’t come across these “Super†series Conn Saxes that often. The Pan American horns were a second line student to intermediate level sax for Conn. It appears the Pan American Super was built more on the pro level sax than your regular Conn Pan American series sax. This Super sax has all Mother of Pearl key touch and rollers, great engraving, tiny grub screws to lock the point screws in place and for adjustment as found on the pro Saxes. It also has Nickel plated keys and the Conn Mercedes key guards. This sax was completely overhauled with new pads, corks, felts, oiled and most new springs installed. It has a clear coat finish and with a crisp key action. It comes with original neck, mouthpiece and case. The Conn Tenor Pan American mouthpiece is in great condition, it only has a small tooth wear spot and no cracks or chips. The case is in good condition, with no bad odor and both spring latches work, no broken springs here. There are some light ripples in the bell at the engraving and bottom of the bow on both sides. There is a small ding by the “E†Key. The Low “C†key guard foot is pushed in a little. There are a few other very small dings or light starches, most of which are marked on the photos and must be close to see. Please read everything before placing a bid.
