You are bidding on a Ridenour Ivorolon Bb clarinet barrel. The barrel is made of pure, natural hard rubber and the rings are made from simulated Ivory for improved response and resonance. The material and special design of the Ivorolon barrel produces a sound that is warmer than that of Grenadilla wood and similar to that of Honduran Rosewood. The high tones are remarkably round and full in tone, without the edginess common to the clarinet's upper clarion and high register. Besides tonal beauty, the bore will remain stable in dimensions year round in a variety of climate conditions and will not crack. These barrels will give you a life time of playing enjoyment with their precise tuning and consistent response and tone color. Each Ridenour Ivorolon barrels is personally precision hand reamed and voiced by Tom Ridenour. The barrels some in lengths of 64, 65, 66 and 67 millimeters and cylindrical or reverse taper bores.
