SELMER NEW YORK CURVED 'C' SOPRANO SAXOPHONE & CASE & BUESCHER MOUTHPIECE-NO RESERVE!Nice old little curved soprano sax marked on front-with nice scroll work-'SELMER NEW YORK' and on the back it is marked 'Low Pitch 35102.' I showed this to a woodwind teacher and he told me that it is a 'C' soprano--it has the upper two keys--no third 'F#' key. Bell diameter is 3 3/16" and from bottom bow guard to ferrel where neck is attached it is approx. 13.75"--neck is fixed on this. Mouthpiece has ligature and cap, and it says 'The Buescher Elkhart IND'. I don't see any chips/cracks on the mouthpiece. Also includes the old neckstrap. There is also a cork between a bottom key, and the woodwind teacher told me that it is for a low Eb played 1 & 3---don't ask me how it plays, I am not a sax player but a tuba player!! Instrument is lacquered, and has light lacquer wear--hardly any dings at all--GREAT condition--all keys and levers seem to move nicely, I don't see anything bent, and everything is here--of course, it'll need a re-pad. A very sweet vintage curved C soprano sax that just came out of an old house and is 'attic fresh'! Comes with original case--handle was replaced a long time ago-leather handle on there now is fine--case is approx. 18.5" long. No reserve, and a 7 day auction. Payment must be sent within 7 days after auction closes. If a NYS resident, 8.75% sales must be added. Shipping/insurance for domestic shipment is an additional $19.75 in the U.S.A.
