SHEET MUSIC COVER BYRON GAY RAMBLING FLIVVER Up for sale is a new print of an amusing cover of a piece of sheet music, It is A Rambling Flivver. Byron Gay composed the words and music. Charles N. Daniels, San Francisco, published the original composition. Byron Gay also co-authored another car song, The Little Ford Rambled Right Along. We have that cover available in our store and because of its very similar look would make a nice pairing with this America was at the beginning of its love affair with the automobile when this piece was composed. Movies, books and music were all featuring cars in their stories and music. This cover is certainly indicative of that trend. A couple in a convertible is shown bouncing along a farm road with the driver attempting to control the car. A fleeing dog is seen in the foreground. An irate farmer, brandishing his pitchfork, can be seen in the background. Let us explain what this piece is.
