Here is a beautiful, vintage instrument. I have no idea what it is called...someone told me maybe a Lute? It is made out of wood. It has ~4~ strings, sort-of like a banjo. Large decorative pegs. Altogether it measures approx. 24 1/2" long. The round part has a diameter of about 14 1/4". It has ~19~ little pieces of wood that resemble like the 'frets' for the neck. It has a 'raised' painted design on the top, sides and back. Beautiful, colorful butterflies and flowers. The sides are decorated with a gold paint in a leaf style design. The piece the strings connect to is also wood. Whatever it's called...it sounds great! Makes a great conversation piece! It has no cracks or breaks...no damage. Something different!
