A very early electric Emerson Motor made for the J. P. Seeburg Piano Co., Chicago, Illinois. Assumed to be manufactured for a player piano. The motor is in good condition, RUNS good, and looks to be 100% original. The brass tag on the top reads : Made for J.P. Seeburg Piano, Co., Chicago, Ill Emerson Motor Model 16809 HP 1/8 (horsepower) V 110 Speed 1150 Cycles 60 Phase 1 type 73510DL. The motor is approximately 8 1/2" high and about 7" in diameter. This puppy is HEAVY - it weighs 22 pound unpacked, so be aware of this heavy shipping weight. See my other listings for more antiques and collectibles. When the Larger Image feature is available, be sure to use it for greater detail on the item. I try to find items out of the ordinary for collectors and dealers. Shipping by priority mail unless stated otherwise. Insurance is required for fragile or breakable items. PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING TO USA ADDRESS ONLY. I try to ship as promptly as possible - usually within 1 day of the end of the auction. However, sometimes the items I sell require extra time for careful packing due to the size and fragility of an item. I welcome questions and answer as promptly as possible. Please inquire with any concerns BEFORE placing your bid. My listings are in the auction format, and as in any auction, the buyer is responsible for knowing about the item up for bid by asking questions, READING the description, and looking at the pictures. A simple question can often times eliminate a future problem. I am glad to help in any way I can to make a smooth transaction for the buyer AND the seller. I sell antiques and collectibles for the most part; therefore, I generally do not use a store format with Buy it Now. I like auctions and enjoy the excitement of the bid process.
