If your renting a clarinet without an option to buy, your throwing away $$$$$$$$. This is a really sweet, probably, 40 year old Selmer Bundy clarinet, and oh yeah its made of "Resonite" which admittedly is a type of plastic, however it's a type that can be machined & milled. Nowadays student model clarinets are made of injection molded ABS plastic. I don't want to get into a whole long diatribe about it, but the old way was better. This instrument has been completely rebuilt (by me) all new pads, corks, springs, it looks good and plays like new. Its comes with the original "Goldentone" mouthpiece, and even the original case, which by the way is in very nice condition except for some scratches on the handle (see pic #11).
