Selmer Mark VI tenor saxaphone the serial number is 225XXX. Research shows that this saxaphone was built around 1974. This saxaphone is silver plated and gold plated in the bell. There are quite a few scratches from my jeans when I played it in high school. All those scratches are hidden while you are playing the instrument. I have owned this saxaphone for more than ten years after a complete rebuild, but doesn't get used anymore. The instrument needs to be buffed out since I have not used this saxaphone in quite some time. The pads may need to be replaced as well for the same reason. This is arguably the best saxaphone made and is highly sought after by professional musicians everywhere. I hate to part with this, but I don't play it any more and would like to see it go to someone who can and will use it.
