Selmer Paris Bb trumpet This is a Selmer trumpet from the mid-50's. It pre-dates the K-Modified model, but is very similar. This trumpet is in very good overall condition with a few flaws: there was a crease in the bell flare that has been removed, there is some failed lacquer on the valve casing that has resulted in some discoloration, and there is a small dent in the lower part of the bell crook. The remainder of the lacquer is in very good condition and although Selmer used a gold lacquer, it has probably darkened a bit more with age. It has a nickel silver leadpipe and nickel silver slide tubes. The fit and finish on this trumpet is outstanding. The mouthpipe is marked as a model 20, which is a medium bore. Valves are fast and compression is very good. Includes original zippered case which shows some wear, but is still sevicable. Great playing vintage professional trumpet.
