I used this Selmer student oboe for several years throughout elementary and middle school until I started using a full conservatory system oboe in high school. It has not been used in several years, so I guess it's time to give it up. It is a plastic student model. The original bell cracked, and so this oboe has a newer bell which is just a few years old. One of the corks was recently replaced, but I don't think they did a very good job because the cork slides around a bit. I took it to a music store and they said it would cost about $40 to get it into playing condition. The serial number is B38928. It comes in a hard sided Selmer case as shown. This is a great instrument for a student! Selling as is. No Reserve.
