Description

Untitled Page Sonor Primary Line GBMP1 Diatonic Deep Bass Metallophone The Primary Line GBMP1 Diatonic Deep Bass Metallophone has 16 bars, C - A' with F#, Bb, and F#' bars. 35 x 10mm bars are made of a special silver alloy with superb sound quality. The deep resonator box contains 6 chambers. The Primary line consists of Orff instruments designed to deliver the fantastic performance of all Sonor instruments with the durability demanded by the elementary music education environment. Built in Sonor's German facilities using all-birch resonator boxes and 100% glued seams for resonance and clarity, they include brackets for leg or stand attachment, reinforced endplates, flexible rubber pins for bar placement, and note names conveniently printed in the center of the bars. Features: 16 - 35 x 10mm bars C - A' with F#, Bb, and F#' bars Special silver metal alloy Overtone-tuned precisely to A440 All-birch resonator boxes with glued seams for resonance and tonal clarity Flexible rubber pins allow easy removal/replacement of bars Boxes fitted with brackets for adjustable legs or mobile stand Reinforced endplates for carrying support Includes mallets This is a new, unused metallophone. When this was unpacked, one of the resonators was dropped on the side, resulting in a small dent (see pic). Also, it appears that one of the black plastic screw covers disappeared (again, see pic). This has such a beautiful tone I didn't really want to sell it, but I'm not in a position to be able to use it, and it really belongs someplace where it will get a lot of use. Tone bars ring a LONG time with a beautiful pure tone. An excellent metallophone that will last a lifetime. Low starting price and no reserve. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BID - A NOTE ABOUT FEEDBACK. You may not be aware of this, but eBay has dramatically changed its policies in regards to feedback. Specifically, sellers can no longer leave negative feedback for buyers and neutral feedback is calculated as negative feedback. I never leave negative feedback for a buyer unless the buyer not only doesn't pay, but doesn't even bother to respond to any of my inquiries. This has happened maybe six times in all of my sales. I will bend over backwards to make your purchase as pleasant as possible and I am very easy to work with. That said, since the new feedback rules have been instigated, many sellers, myself included, who have had spotless feedback records are now getting negatives for the most spurious of reasons, such as their choice of packing materials, or the time it took for delivery, or the buyer did not read the listing carefully. My 100% positive rating was taken down a notch because a buyer did not like the time it took the post office to deliver their package, so they gave me a neutral. So, to make things clear: Most of my auctions close on Sunday evening. Everything that is paid for by late Monday evening will be shipped on Tuesday. If the payment reaches me after Tuesday, it probably will ship later in the week, but it may not go out until the following Tuesday, rising fuel costs are forcing me to limit trips to the post office. I use styrofoam peanuts and blocks as packing material whenever possible. I know some customers do not like them, but I have not found any material that is as protective of an item as styrofoam. Regarding shipping rates. I weigh each and every item I sell. To that I add an estimation of how much the packing material will weigh. All shipping fees are calculated on a piece by piece basis and they vary depending upon your distance from here (Kansas City, MO). They are calculated by eBay's shipping calculator which you will find near the bottom of this listing. To the postage fee a flat handling charge of $4.00 for domestic and $5.00 for international shipments (international requires more paperwork) is added. This charge is and always has been incorporated into the postage charged at the end of the auction. This charge is to help offset both the time I spend wrapping packages and the expense of supplies. Rather than charge more for larger or more difficult to wrap items and less for small easily wrapped items, for simplicity I have opted to average everything and come up with a single flat handling charge. Please review this charge before you bid. If you think it is excessive, then please do not bid. I believe my shipping charges are fair, but a few unhappy customers have damaged my overall feedback rating due to giving me low points for shipping charges. As this costs me in sales, I would prefer any customer who feels my shipping fees are too much and plans on giving me a low rating because of this not bid on my items. and I am not responsible for the time it takes the post office to get the package to you. I will send you an email on the day your item ships, after that, it is out of my hands. Last year some international packages were taking as long as two months to arrive (Italy was especially bad about this) - luckily I had some patient customers. Most shipments arrive in a timely manner, but occasionally one get held up for some obscure reason. This is not my fault. Please keep these things in mind before you bid. I will be accepting of any deserving negative feedback I receive, but if styrofoam upsets you, or if you are expecting me to make multiple trips to the post office, or you don't like my shipping charges, or if you are particular about how long it takes a package to arrive, then please do not bid on any of my items. Despite my best efforts, occasionally I'll make a mistake in a listing. When this happens you can rest assured that I will make things right for you either in the form of a partial refund or a full refund. You do, though, have to let me know if there is a problem. Though sellers can no longer leave negative feedback, they are posting the ID's of buyers who leave spurious negatives in eBay's feedback forums and many sellers, myself included, are adding those ID's to their own blocked bidders list. Not surprising, since eBay has started the new feedback policy I have gotten more non-paying customers. If you do not intend to pay for an item, then please do not bid. If you do not want to or cannot pay for an item you've won, then contact me and we will work it out - I'm very easy to get alone with. Even though I cannot leave negative feedback for a non-paying customer, eBay still has non-payment strikes which you will receive if you think ignoring my messages about an auction you've won is the way to get out of it. This will effectively block you from bidding on any other eBay auctions for some time.
