Beautiful Moeck F-Alto-Recorder Modell Flauto 236 R english fingering This is a lovely wooden Moeck alto/treble recorder. It is made of wonderful grained maple wood, has english/baroque fingering with double holes for f/fis and g/gis and is ca. 47 cm long. A really beautiful grained instrument made by the world-famous firm of Moeck. The Flauto Rondo has a balanced tone in all registers, which can be achieved without perfect breathing technique an which blends in well in ensemble playing. The recorder is in good condition , the labium and the corks are in exellent condition. The pieces fit together beautifully. The thumbhole shows nearly invisible signs of wear, at the middle part is a little scratch.At the right side of the mouthpiece is a small chip, two other chips are at the bottom of the recorder. This signs of use do not effect the sound.No other signs of wear, no scratches, dentmarks or flaws. The recorder is cleaned, disinfected and inside oiled with almond oil.The sound is clear and strong and pure, as good as one expected from Moeck.The high and dark tones are easy to play.
