FOUR SPACE UNIVERSAL CLAMPING RACK SHELF (RC-4) BY MIDDLE ATLANTIC (DIFFERENT FROM MY OTHER LISTING!!!) There are some minor scratches from installing and removing the rack. At the time of purchase this unit was the only one available when we were looking to get two of the model RC-3 (3-space shelfs). So we settled on the next size up (RC-4) and physically cut it down with a reciprocating saw to make it fit like the RC-3. I then placed soft rubber edging around the cut edges to prevent injury or scratching of components. So now its a 3 space Unit! This shelf will hold a larger component than the real RC-3. When we were using it, this one held the Multi-Disc CD player while the other one held the cassette deck. In the process of installation and removal, the "L" brackets and two of the rubber teats that sit on one of the clamp braces were lost. Weight Capacity - 85 lbs.
