FOR SALE IS A TK O'BRIEN TRAVEL SIZED HAMMERED DULCIMER, COMPLETE WITH CARRY BAG, 2 SETS OF HAMMERS, TUNING FORK, KORG CHROMATIC TUNER, LITTLE STAND AND MUSIC BOOK. THIS WAS BOUGHT FOR ME AS A BIRTHDAY PRESENT LESS THAN A YEAR AGO FOR £130, THE CHROMATIC TUNER AND EXTRA SET OF HAMMERS WERE BOUGHT SEPARATELY FOR £15 AND £20 RESPECTIVELY. I HAD ONE LESSON AND THE DULCIMER HAS NOT BEEN USED SINCE DUE TO HAVING 2 KIDS TO RUN AROUND AFTER AND NO ENERGY/TIME FOR LEARNING A NEW INSTRUMENT. SO, THIS HAS TO GO AND THEN I CAN STOP FEELING GUILTY ABOUT NEVER USING IT!! SOLD IN IMMACULATE CONDITION, AS NEW (BUT OBVIOUSLY USED ONCE FOR THE LESSON) WITH ITS ORIGINAL RECIEPT. THE EXTRA SET OF HAMMERS HAVE LEATHER STRIPS ON THEM AND MAKE A LOVELY MELLOW SOUND COMPARED TO THE SET OF HAMMERS WHICH ARE PLAIN WOOD. IT IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL INSTRUMENT WITH AND VERY MELODIOUS AND ETHERIAL SOUND - ALSO VERY UNUSUAL AND ORIGINAL! ITS SMALL SIZE IS IDEAL FOR ANYONE WISHING TO TAKE UP THE DULCIMER WITHOUT FEELING DAUNTED BY THE HUGE FULL SIZED ONES OUT THERE - THIS IS VERY PORTABLE (ABOUT THE SIZE OF A LAPTOP) AND CAN BE STORED IN THE SMALLEST OF SPACES. Postage: I always use recorded delivery when sending out eBay items as this is the most hassle free option for all concerned. Once sent, I assume no responsibility for your item - it is all down to good old Royal Mail from there on.
