Loved the sound of Tama maple's for that ultimate rock sound. Purchased less than a year ago for a rock project that ignited but never exploded. I picked these sizes very carefully with the intent of producing the thunderous bottom required for a hard driving, LOUD, and attitude ridden rock band.These drums delivered in spades. 14 x 12 on top, 16 x 16 floor and 18 x 16 to deliver the earth shaking bottom and punch.. Punching out the drums further is the 22 x 18 bass drum.No hole in the front head of this bad boy. Bonham style triplets tore your face off. Just a blast to play and kicking the band with total authority.The finish on these drums are classy and professional all the way. These drums look and mean business.
