This is a 2008 Taylor T5 Spruce Top in Tobacco Burst. I bought this in May of 08' and played it very little. There are no scratches, no buckle rash, no dings or dents, it is in mint condition. You won't be disappointed when you open the case. These are great guitars that sound great and play even better. The finish is perfect. When I bought it I was scared it would be too dark around the edges and the expression knobs. But it never gets too black; just deep brown to beautiful yellow. You can see the simple texture in the spruce wood. Most people are crazy about the busy curly maple. In my opinion it pulls away from the burst effect and if you think about it, high end acoustics are normally some kind of rose wood and spruce, not maple. Anyway, when I opened it, my wife knew of my concern about the colors. I had been considering the honeyburst mainly because I'm not big on the color black on my guitars, unless they're solid black, because of the way they show finger prints and smudges. Anyway, I told her it was perfect and that Taylor or whoever could call it what they wanted, but that it was perfect. This guitar is beautiful and it comes with the attractive hard shell case. I'm not using it as much as I thought I would and I have the bug to buy something else. I'm listing it for 10 days because I'm going to be in and out of town over the next two weeks. For that I have an excuse. My band and I were buying vests for a gig. I bought a couple of vests off of here. One of them said Men or Women's Small, Medium, or Large. I bought it. This thing was so tiny that no man in history could fit into it. I gave her Neutral Feedback because of her laziness in describing the item. She gave me negative feedback. I thought it was pretty stupid that I couldn't defend myself or appeal to some higher ebay representative and I was frustrated because she got the final say. She got every penny of her money and I'm sure it was before her deadline. In her defense she did list the measurements of the vest. But I'm a guy who plays music, I don't know how large I am in inches and or centimeters. Plus it was cheap, who cares. Sorry for the rant. Buy the guitar it's nice.
