<P> Purchased by myself as a Musical resale item because it was a Useable ITEM: The GIBSON Tenor Banjo Junior Style TB-JR dated by serial # to 1933. Inherited by a female torch singer from her stepdad, who owned a music store in Atlanta , Georgia in 1970's. This item has been in proper storage a long time. Possibily the lutheir was in the process of repairing this item, however he passed away and the banjo is still not finished. MECHANICALLY: Needs: a. 1- Tuning peg needs cleaning the other three seem okay to me. b. the stencil " The Gibson is missing off the neck head? reason unknown. c. Rosewood frets nice d. fingerboard may have been cut to allow for spacing of Brass ring under soundboard clear membrane to change the tone? e. Bridge missing. f. BANJO TAIL PIECE MISSING OPTICALLY: Beautiful condition, NOT one scratch or dent! A joy too look at, needs to be serviced, have new parts placed and brought back to life.
