This Irish Bouzouki has additional a top class integrated Pickup (this system is purchased by the same producer who provide the manufacturers of Garrisson- and Segovia-guitars!), which has been developed especially for these Instruments. Play it and hear the mellow sound of this instrument . . . --> The Bouzouki is tuned like a Mandolin or a Fiddle G-D-A-E (G- and D-strings are octaved), but there are a lot of tunings possible. The whole Body is made of solid wood!Top: solid spruce. Spruce is the most commonly used wood on acoustic instruments soundboards.Body and neck: european maple, finished in a black paintwork. Maple is strong and an extremely dense, heavy wood. It’s excellent for instrument necks and bodies because it can handle excessive amounts of string tension. Maple has a bright and crisp tone and is used on everything from flamenco guitars to some electrics.Fingerboard: mahogany.
