This Irish Bouzouki has additional a top class integrated Pickup (this system is purchased by the same producer who provide the manufacturers of Garrisson- and Segovia-guitars!), which has been developed especially for these Instruments. The Bouzouki is tuned like a Mandolin or a Fiddle G-D-A-E (G- and D-strings are octaved), but there are a lot of tunings possible. The whole Body is made of solid wood!Top: solid spruce. Spruce is the most commonly used wood on acoustic instruments soundboards.Body and neck: european maple, finished in mahagony.Maple is strong and an extremely dense, heavy wood. It’s excellent for instrument necks and bodies because it can handle excessive amounts of string tension. Maple has a bright and crisp tone and is used on everything from flamenco guitars to some electrics.Fingerboard: mahogany.
