The Sweetbriar Guitar Stand 100% Solid Wood Stands The Sweetbriar Guitar Stand is a guitar stand for the living room. My wife will not let me keep a guitar by my easy chair. “You are not leaving that chrome/metal looking thing in my living room†That was the beginning. I purchase 5/4†rough sawn lumber from a local lumberyard. I have it milled to ¾†by a local hardware shop. This is taken to another cabinet shop where the pieces are cut. These pieces are taken to my basement. There is where the stand is assembled with glue and biscuits. After that, they are sanded and shaped to fit together precisely. These stands fit together without nails or screws. The unique joint uses gravity to fit together. The last stage is two to three coats of hand rubbed tung oil. Neoprene bumper are added. The tung oil allows the wood to shine with a semi-gloss finish. The beauty of the wood shows nicely. This group of stands is made of Walnut. A beautiful dark wood. These are limited. Due to other priorities, I don’t know when I will have more. Currently 10 are left. The Sweetbriar Guitar Stand will display your guitar safely and unobtrusively. For Acoustic Guitars only.
