Older Saxophone from Armstrong - Circa 1980's Armstrong made saxophones in the 1980's and were made in Elkhart, IN, like so many other band instruments have been down through the years - a used saxophone like one of these will probably need to be serviced by a professional musical instrument repairman before it will be suitable for playing Still, an older Armstrong could turn out to be a fairly adequate instrument for a beginner in the school band.
