Chrome is super shiny and smooth with no rust or pitting. Everything is original and works perfectly including it's original memory lock. Main post is 19-1/4" long (original size, not cut) and 1" diameter. The Ludwig logo has no scratches on it and the nuts are in nice shape. I would rate this as a very solid 9 out of 10.
