Here is a vintage, original Ampex 19" rack-mount, portable hard-case with removable front and rear covers in mint original condition. Outside dimensions measure 20"w x 8"h x 11-3/4"d. Inside 19" rack mount area measures 19-1/8"w x 7-1/8"h. Screw hole patterns are for 2 rack units at 3" hole spacings or 1 rack unit with 3-1/2" hole spacings. From the top inside edge, holes measure down (to center).... 1/4", 1-1/2", 3-1/4", 3-3/4", 5" and 6-3/4". This looks like it will accomodate many of the popular Ampex tube electronics. It has original Nielsen handle and Excelsior latches. This came from a retired Ampex Factory Service Technician and it is in super mint condition. No rips, tears, breaks or repairs.
