This is a vintage lot of music melody books for the piano. They are "Look & Play","The Piano Hour" Book 1 and "The Adult Approach to the Piano". All three songbooks are from the late 1930's through the late 1940's. Each one is in good but used condition The Look and Play songbook has wonderful black and white photos to help a student learn the correct style and form as well as many helpful hints. Copyright 1938 The Piano Hour songbook is a collection of favorite melodies using only the one, four or five chords.The music is was arranged and compiled by Hallie Webber. Copyright 1949 Some songs include: Beautiful Dreamer Oh Suzanna Old English Melody Are You Sleeping? Peek-a-boo Camptown Races Home on the Range Chop SticksThe third songbook is The Adult Approach to the Piano. This book has lots of descriptions of the proper way to play the piano and some of it's history. There is some pencil writing in this book. Written by Mary Bacon Mason.
