This is a vintage violin that needs work with several parts that have been taken off. Examples of these are the bridge, fingerboard, and tailpiece. These parts are included. This violin could be used for parts or restored. There is a crack on the end by the chin rest. Made in Germany is on the chin rest, although the chin rest may have been replaced. It measures 23 inches and the body is 14 inches which is typical of a 4/4. The bow is made of wood, possibly Brazilwood or pernambuco. The frog appears ebony with inlaid mother of pearl. The tip could be whalebone. It measures 28 inches which makes it a 4/4 or full size bow. A few of the hairs are loose.The word Germany is faintly located near the frog. There are no other markings on the bow or violin itself. Included is the case, very old strings in package and old resin all which are worthless but vintage.
