This is a pitch pipe tuned to E-A-D-G, at the same octave level of a violin or a mandolin. It is small- it fits in your pocket. It never goes out of tune (electric tuners can drift if the battery is weak) It's plastic and relatively inexpensive. If you lose it, you won't cry a river. You might just want to buy 2 to be safe. Manufacturer of these may vary. I buy them in bulk from different distributors.
