White Crow VST Plugin White Crow is a virtual monophonic synthesizer with a very distinctive sound that uses a unique synthesis method called Phase Distortion Synthesis. Phase distortion synthesis is a synthesis method introduced by Casio in its CZ range of synths. This synthesis method has an "analogue" character that can be described as clean and sharp.White Crow takes Phase Distortion a few steps further, with two super PD oscillators, phase distortion envelopes & LFO, special signal flow design and an advanced effects section. White Crow VSTi, like the original Casio CZ synths, offers 8 basic waveforms: saw, square, pulse, doublesine, saw-pulse, reso1, reso2 and reso3. A second set of (identical) waveforms can be added to create new unusual waveforms. Each of the two PD oscillators is made of 5 sub oscillators that can detuned for the creation of fat rich sounds. The phase distortion amount of each oscillator can be modulated by 2 ADSR envelopes, an LFO, and the velocity. This will affect the sound timbre over time instead of the regular filter modulations.
