This auction is for a Yamaha YEP 201 Student Euphonium/Baritone . My son used this instrument to practice at home during middle school, grades 6, 7, and 8. However, it was very gently used because he didn't practice that much at all. He didn't have to carry the instrument to and from school because they had one at school that he could use. I just within the last week had this instrument completely checked out by the music store in my town to look for any flaws. They did oil all the valves and that was all it needed. They said it was a good , solid instrument that was in good, working order. There are some small dents that they could not remove, but the music store person said they do not effect the playing or the sound of the instrument. There are also some scratches & abrasions to the brass finish. These are almost solely at one section of the instrument, as is shown in the photos. Most parts of the instrument are free of any scratches abrasions or dents of any kind. The instrument comes in a Yamaha, hard, black case. Other than some superficial scratches to the outside of the case, it is in great shape. All latches on the case & the handle are in perfect, working order. The instrument is complete and comes with a mouthpiece. We bought this instrument from the music company that supplies our school district with musical instruments, so it is from a reputable company.
