The YAMAHA YEP-201 is an excellent alternative for younger players. Great for beginner because It is lighter weight than more advanced models making it easier to hold and play. Instruments is pitched in Key of Bb. My son mostly played this instrument at home and in concerts because he was able to play a second school-owned instrument at lessons and rehearsals. Instrument has a couple of small scratches to the original lacquer finish. A few small dents were removed by a reputable local instrument repairman. We made sure he sanitized the horn making it safe and ready for any child to play. Comes complete with like-new mouthpiece, plus valve oil, tuning slide grease, cleaning brush accessories. The original Yamaha hardshell case shows little sign of wear.
