I don't know anything about this violin's orig There are no apparent seem leeks or cracks. It feels light and well balanced. From looking through the f holes It looks lined and blocked. A name or something is engraved on the back,bottom of the scroll/pegbox, I can't tell what it says. Its body is 14" long and the overall legnth is 23 1/4 ". The violin needs strings and could use adjustments.
