For auction is a very old violin. It is in a very old wooden case. The wood has a couple splits in it and needs cleaning. It is just as i found it at an estate sale. The case is 31 inchs long, 9 inchs wide and 3 1/2 inchs thick. The violin seems to all be there and i can find no cracks or other damage on it. It is 20 1/8 inchs long. The widest part is 6 3/4 inch and it is 1 3/8 inch thick at the body. I cannot find any kind of mfg. marks on the violin so dont know who made or where it came from.
